grimmie 173 #1 July 19, 2011 Long time Northern California jumper and all around nice guy passed away this weekend after an extended illness. He always had a smile and a laugh ready for everyone he met. One of the good guys. Fly free my friend...
jlmiracle 7 #2 July 19, 2011 Very sad to hear this. I met him at the South of the Border boogie in San Carlos many years ago. What a super nice guy. Elisha 1 #3 July 19, 2011 Is this the same who is a former 49ers Center? When was Forrest last active jumping and where did he usually jump?
scottmac 0 #4 July 20, 2011 I was fortunate to meet Forrest and his girl friend Kelly at SkyDance Skydiving in 1994. They were both a part of my 200th jump in the sport. He was a humble and athlethic person and a pleasure to spend time with. I never research his football accomplishment until I heard of his passing. With Forrest, it was the here and now. You will be missed my old friend!
jdobleman 0 #5 July 20, 2011 Yes, Ole, that was him. Jumped at Skydance a lot. Fortunately made some with him. Great Guy. madjohn Main goals in life: Be on the "Jumpers Over Eighty" (JOE) World Record and attend the Lost Prairie Boogie once after I'm gone. I was suppose to line up behind him on inside of the otter, but as soon as he bent over, we couldn't get by. I just turned to everyone and said "we are all swooping". He was very friendly and funny. jBe kinder than necessary because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.
