Chami was the best jump pilot in all of NZ! The Good Vibe Boogies will not ever be the same.

I hope his family find comfort as time goes on... He was newly married and had over 10 years of experience flying all sorts of jump planes... Pleasure to know him!

Lots of blues to you Chami and hugs to all who feel this terrible loss at SKydive New Zealand and Skydive Abel Tasman!

What can I say? who didn't love Chami? excellent drop pilot and all round great guy. Here is a slideshow tribute to him and Michael Suter, another friend I lost in that accident http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tE35COnsmd8 , I don't know how to make a clicky so if somebody else could do so I would be grateful.

Blue Skies Chami. Your smile will never be forgotten, neither will the decade where you gave your life to the sport. I have travelled the globe with a parachute, but have never once come across a young jump pilot like yourself you fitted so well into the social aspect of dropzone life.
Nina, I really hope you get through this, your spirit was perfectly matched to Chami.

I hadn't spoken to you in years Chami, and I have lost a few friends to the sport over the years to the point that news of skydiving related deaths kind of sadly feel common place, and dont affect me like they should. Hearing news of this accident though was the saddest day i have experienced in this sport. It might sound bad of me towards other friends I have lost, but you didnt deserve to be taken away from this world. I dont know too many people who just walk around this globe smiling every day.
