A sad day indeed. I can't believe it's been sixteen years, seems so recent. BSBD all.

Mick.

PS: Hi Jeanie.

A long time indeed, but I can still smell the day. The faces fade, but the memories remain.
BSBD in Peace, jeanie

Aloha,

My name is Maria Dajay Olipas. I am the daughter of Rolando Dajay who also perished in the crash. I was 15 when he died. Although it's been 19 years since he's been gone, the pain of his departure is as fresh today as it was the day the Navy Chaplain and Commander came knocking on my door.

It is not until now that I decided to research the accident. I am so glad to see that there are people out there who have not forgotten about this day in 1992.

Can someone please take a picture of the area and my Dad's tree for me? I plan to take a trip to California later this year and I would like to finally go and visit the memorial.

Thank you all for keeping the memories of all of those who perished alive.

With Aloha,
Maria Dajay Olipas
