I met him out at Cal-City when I was still a student. seemed like a nice guy. Was that the VW van out of the back of the C-119? Philly tells a great story about it. The Van is still out in the desert. about 15 years ago someone came out with a cutting torch to cut out the engain and transaxle for the aluminium I guess. I went out there last summer, it's all shot up. There's also a safe out there with a false back that Dar did a stunt in. We came across the safe when looking for a canopy working for AERO. Yea, Dar started jumping at Taft, if memory serves Carl Staib trained him. Dar did his 5 static lines and up to 30 sec delays in one week end.
