sharimcm 0 #51 March 25, 2007 Thank you Kathleen for posting some of those pictures. Drew was the videographer following Walt in flight capturing every moment of Dave's canopy flying free like Dave himself. I had the wonderful opportunity to go up with the jumpers as an "observer" and Mark Mark made every effort to land the plane for me to see Walt come in for his landing. I want to personally thank everyone who made the jump a success and made it a beautiful tribute to our friend, David Wayne Sebesta. Fly free Dave. We all love you. waltappel 1 #53 March 26, 2007 I'm at a loss for words right now. An Austin television station did a piece on Dave and our memorial jump. Here's a link. To say the least, it was beautifully done. The reporter, Craig Lucie of KTBC (Fox) in Austin and his cameraman (sorry--I didn't get his name) did tandem jumps today while working on the story. I cannot possibly praise them enough for the sensitive way they did this story. edited to add: Whoever did the editing on that story, well all I have to say is WOW--they done good!!!!!Also, anyone who wants the reporter's e-mail address, please send me a private message. edited again to add another link (Thanks, Wendy!): clicky. skydivermom 0 #55 March 26, 2007 These are the lyrics to a song by Faith Hill called There You'll Be. If I ever have an opportunity to sing a song in his honor, it will probably be this one. When I think back On these times And the dreams We left behind I'll be glad 'cause I was blessed to get To have you in my life When I look back On these days I'll look and see your face You were right there for me In my dreams I'll always see your soul Above the sky In my heart There always be a place For you for all my life I'll keep a part Of you with me And everywhere I am There you'll be Well you showed me How it feels To feel the sky Within my reach And I always Will remember all The strength you Gave to me Your love made me Make it through Oh, I owe so much to you You were right there for me 'Cause I always saw in you My light, my strength And I want to thank you Now for all the ways You were right there for me You were right there for me For alwaysMrs. WaltAppel All things work together for good to them that love God...Romans 8:
