Well that's a surprise, Trump brings in another shitbag. I wonder how many of those who "just couldn't trust Hilary" will get to see their grand kids die of measles.

I'm guessing it was about 1930 when America was really "great", right?

But he gets to say that he included a liberal on his team, demonstrating bipartisanship.

And to any of the fucking idiots who say that politicians are all the same, and each side behaves as badly as the other - this is why elections matter.

I'm watching Obama's farewell speech, I guess it's the last time we get to see and hear something presidential for the next 4 years.

We can always Netflix old episodes of The West Wing and pretend it's real.

Stumpy

This makes me angrier than most of the others because its kids who will suffer - and in this case that's not hyperbole.

But Trump is the candidate of change, and to his supporters any change is good (especially if it sticks it to Obama and progressives). We haven't seen polio-stricken kids in iron lungs since the late 1950s, that's obviously got to change. Besides, the 1950s were the last time America was great (according to Trump) so anything we can do to go back to the 50s is all just part of making America great again. Why don't you want America to be great again?

That's how you become the best job creator god has ever made.

Think of the poor iron lung manufacturers. Why do you want to kill jobs in the iron lung factories? SAD!

Don't forget leg braces and crutches. Those are places where Trump could create new (or recreate old) jobs.

Or it's a genius move to debunk the anti-vaxxer movement once and for all, especially if "one of them" is running it. :)

...Or it's a genius move..."

After reading the transcripts of Trump's speeches, debates, and press conferences, it's safe to say the word 'genius' and 'trump' do not belong in the same sentence together.

>Oh the depths we are headed to...

Aaand - next on the list of making America great again, and a return to the good old days, we have this news out of Maine. Sure to put a smile on the face of any anti-vaxxer.

Maine confirms its first case of measles in 20 years
CBS/AP June 27, 2017, 8:07 PM

AUGUSTA, Maine -- The Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention is investigating a confirmed case of measles in Franklin County that it says is related to travel.

The state says the Maine Health and Environmental Testing Laboratory confirmed the case. The last reported case of measles in the state was in 1997.

State epidemiologist Siiri Bennett says the Maine CDC is working with clinicians to identify potentially exposed individuals. The public may have been exposed if they visited several locations in Farmington and Kingfield between June 15 and 19.

Measles is a vaccine-preventable disease that can cause pneumonia and death.
