Phil1111 908 #26 December 17, 2016 jakee ***But you're right about one thing. Something pathetic is going on in this thread. Oh, cut him some slack - it's tough for the rightwingers right now. They're facing the fact that not only is Trump the President that the large majority of voters didn't want, he's not even the President that the people who did vote for him thought they were going to get. He doesn't represent their party, he doesn't represent the common people, he's freely admitting that he never believed in and doesn't care about doing the things he promised to the die-hard right to mobilise them in the election... but they have to swallow all that down and pretend it's all good because he still has an R next to his name. That kind of denial is hard to deal with, so it's inevitable they'll end up lashing out!Speaking of mobilizing, it looks like the UK may be in the same camp against trump. I guess that the deniers will just add MI5 and the UK parliament to the great conspiracy. "Russia accused of waging secret warfare against Britain using cyber attacks, espionage and fake news By Patrick Sawer, Senior Reporter 17 December 2016 • 11:17am Whitehall officials have for the first time acknowledged that Russia is waging a "campaign" of propaganda and unconventional warfare against Britain. According to senior figures in Government, Moscow is to blame for concerted attempts to undermine the UK through fake espionage, misinformation, cyber attacks and fake news. It is understood that intelligence officers and senior civil servants across government voiced their concern about the growing scale of the Russian threat during a high-level meeting at the Cabinet Office two months ago. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/12/17/russia-accused-waging-secret-war-against-britain-using-cyber/ All just part of the anti-Putin, anti-trump, great Western LIE and conspiracy. Calling "Royreader8812" Putin and trump need defending over in this thread too!

Nope, Scott Pruitt, a climate denier from the oil patch who has sued the EPA. The best part is the Dems are powerless to stop him because of a rule change they pushed through. Yes, I'm well aware of the nominee. However, the power will still be sitting on the Throne. And who will have the tyrant King's ear?Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.

He has after all spent his entire life since childhood looking out for the best interest of other people. A real Mensch, and now a King. Always a Prince and a man of principle. Yes indeed, America's cream has risen to the top and the people will be well served.Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free. Yes, starting with the new Secretary of Keeping Labour Costs Down. The business man from the fast food industry. The guy who wants more immigration to feed his business. Just what you need more of, low paying fast food jobs. In place of the manufacturing job the lying liar promised but can not deliver. He has a lifetime of making promises he can't keep. Experience, the new American value. Suckers.....Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free. brenthutch 383 #34 December 18, 2016 It is the best part because if he gets approved, he will end the EPA's phony war on carbon. That will bring back oil, gas and coal jobs, drive down energy costs, make American industry more competitive and hurt our enemies without firing a shot. I would say that is a pretty big "best part." Dreamer. it won't do any of those things. Do you not understand supply and demand? The EPA is not nearly as powerful as you think. brenthutch 383 #36 December 18, 2016 I have a MBA so I'm pretty sure I have a grasp of supply and demand. That said I know the EPA is not the only player. EPA administrator Secretary Pruitt will end the war on carbon, Interior Secretary Zinke will open up federal lands to oil and gas production, Department of Energy Perry will take the focus off of expensive and unreliable renewables and put it on inexpensive and reliable carbon based energy. The terrific triumvirate if you will.
PhreeZone 14 #37 December 18, 2016 Perry is going to find that he does not actually set the energy policy and instead uses about 60-70% of his budget towards nuclear weapons development and refreshment. The largest issue facing the energy department for the next 10 years is going to be the long term storage of spent nuclear fuel and waste. The Yucca Salts project has been delayed and stalled for the last two administrations and time is quickly running out as we get ready for a major refurbishment of our nuclear stockpile in order to have a final plan for the storage of the spent rods and the waste. He will be facing a situation where DOE will be needing to spend massive amounts of money on super computer development to be able to model the new weapons being designed and to finance a lot of science projects like ultra high powered lasers, particle accelerators, and other high tech ventures. Very little money and time from the DOE is actually spent on an energy policy.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
