I don't see the issue.

If she's ever going to be a respected first lady then she needs exposure and training of how to communicate with world leaders. It's no different than having a junior in a company shadow a senior to a meeting - how else are they going to learn?

The alternative is that she never gets any training and then gets lambasted when she cocks things up.

I have absolutely no issue with the picture... Of course if she was suggesting policy that would be different, but there's no evidence of that.

And on a personal note, I actually agree with Trumps intention of reducing the number of career politicians involved in the government. But if you remove a load of corrupt but experienced people you do need to fill at least some of those slots back up, and you can only do it with people who have less experience. QED.

Fingers crossed that these new guys don't make too many big mistakes and that the change they bring (if any - remember, 'power corrupts') is worth the errors they do make.

On the one hand, it would seem Romney is an adult and a professional, and can set aside personal issues with the president-elect.

On the other, considering what Romney said about Trump during the campaign (and even more so, what was said by the candidate), I can't imagine how difficult it would be for him to serve as Trump's immediate representative to the other world leaders.

For the record, I HATE the concept of dynastic rule in the US. I hated it with Bush, and Clinton, and I'm completely against it with Trump as well.

Well, except that it's against the law.

In regards to the son-in-law, they're trying to sidestep this law by simply not paying him a salary so it wouldn't "actually be a paid position".
I could swear there was a pile of promises about being the party of "law and order", of which there seems to be neither at this point.

Also of note, Sessions has been previously disqualified from a Federal Judge position due to being a racist.
Then today, we get the angry ex-military genius that was ran out of his DIA position because he has no control over himself and was just plain crazy.

This would be better if it was still a "reality" show.
