Once you'd hit on a frequency that has a program, you can hear voice, transmitted over the air!
It's amazing.
At that point in time, you (well, not you personally mind you) are able to make a decision if you like it and would like to continue listening to said program, or change to radio to a different frequency to find something else more suiting to personal taste.
That's what I did.

Last time I saw that guy's show was during the Chicago protest against Rahm Emanuel over the shooting death of Laquan McDonald - all he could talk about was how many of those protesters were against black on black crime - ok, good point - but he wouldn't let it go. I changed the channel and later went back to Hannity - same shit, what about blacks on blacks? -I switched the channel . . .

Again, I switched back to Hannity to give him another chance, but this time it was that shady fucker Bo Dietl talking about black on black crime - I laughed myself to sleep. . .
