******"The 224 People, Places and Things Donald Trump Has Insulted on Twitter: A Complete List"

And the ignorami love him for it.

Trump’s tendency to be crude, rude and impetuous, not to mention disingenuous, contentious, simplistic and irresponsibly ignorant appeals to these people.

And GOP party leaders like Ryan and McConnell, against their better instincts, are falling in behind him, not for the good of the country but for their own electoral advantage.

that is hilarious - Your description of Trump accurately describes most of the liberal poster her in SC.

The most consistently ignorant poster here is an admitted conservative. You know who he is, too.

Hi,

used to post here a lot but took 6 years off from the sport, so just getting back in the swing of things.. Little wiser now hopefully! I Would not say I am a fan of either, but would definitely go for Clinton due to:

1. She is NOT Donald Trump
2. Political experience
3. At least understands the machinery of the Whitehouse

Thanks

So Clinton won Puerto Rico's presidential primary, adding to her delegate count toward the Democrat nomination.

Puerto Rico is a US territory, and therefore cannot vote in the presidential election.

Meanwhile, I live in CO, and could not vote in the presidential primary election, because CO has no such election.

Do we need any more proof how fucked up this system is?

Not everyone. Republican strategist Rick Wilson had this to say about the decision:
========
"You [GOP candidates] own his politics. You own his policies, even the ones that only last as long as the next contradiction. You own the racial animus that started out as a bug, became a feature and is now the defining characteristic of his campaign. You own every crazy, vile chunk of word vomit that spews from his mouth. You own his racist bleatings about Mexicans and “his” African Americans. . . .

He’s political poison. Don’t believe me? You will. Feel that sinking sensation? That’s Trump’s negatives dragging you down. Donald Trump’s polling-average approval rating among registered and likely voters today stands at a grisly 34% favorable and 60.5% unfavorable.

Dear Sir,

HOW DARE YOU CRITICIZE THE MOST BESTEST SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT EVER CREATED BY MAN?

VOTING CAN'T BE LEFT TO THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT! IT CAN ONLY BE ALLOWED TO BE RUN BY INDIVIDUAL STATES!

OBVIOUSLY A FEDERAL STANDARD OF DEMOCRATIC ELECTIONS WOULD BE A SOCIALIST PLOT.

GOOD DAY, SIR. I SAY, GOOD DAY!

Ryan is bright enough to see Trump for what he is, but too gutless to do what is best for the country, instead of what is best for the party.[:/]

And of course, even though he was born in Indiana, because his parents came from Mexico, that makes him a "Mexican."

Interestingly, Curiel's dad emigrated in the 1920s, before Trump's mom. And became a naturalized citizen.

Absolutely

If one 'claims' to be an individualist, and it bothers you when special interest groups make racist claims that a white male can't be unbiased as a judge, cop, or investigator. Then they HAVE to be just as upset a Trump's statement.

Vice versa for you lefty activists.

either way, if you aren't bothered by both scenarios, you are a hypocrit

people need to be judged by their real life work performance - not by where their grandparents lived, or what tones of makeup would work best on their cheekbones.

Not necessarily. You've created a false equivalence. And apparently don't know what hypocrite means.

I want to get this straight, so it's ok to judge one 'type' of person solely by his race but not his actions. It's absolutely not ok to do the same if it's a different race. Because of your personal opinions of how a person acts based solely on his race.

Or to a less dramatic degree - at least you aren't bothered as much by one scenario over the other, again, based on your preconceived notions of how people act (defined solely by their race, but not their actions).

How Trumplike of you. Nicely played.

Edit: One thing that is good about this election cycle, it is truly bringing out those from the very edges on both sides that are more alike than different. And we even see Kallend agreeing with Paul Ryan on something (sure it's truth, but still).

Conservative political strategist Michael Reagan tweeted on Monday that he would not be voting for Donald Trump during California's Republican primary on Tuesday, and added in a message to Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus that "this most likely would be the 1st time if my father was alive that we would not support the nominee of the GOP." In an interview with Newsmax, Reagan said he was contemplating writing "Ronald Reagan" on his ballot because he is offended by Trump's comments about a judge with Mexican heritage. "My father would not vote for Donald Trump" in the California primary, he added, "and he may even say, 'I didn't leave the party. The party left me.'"

One can hope. One can hope they break ranks, put up someone else. Then between now and next time the whole party dissolves and becomes something more Libertarian. Just get rid of the theological/social branch completely.

.......one can hope

I wish for a campaign that talks about the correct balance of social philosophy vs individualism/freedom and then we all get to decide.....

Not a campaign about opportunism vs narcissism - either way will come in and do terrible things and pretend it's anything remotely like a real political philosophy discussion

I didn't say any such thing. I merely pointed out that in some contexts, race is not irrelevant, and, in common combination with a lack of understanding of a relevant culture, can impact one's ability to do their job correctly. In other words, all else is not equal.

In the matter of the Trump U case, race is not a factor in the case, and is an irrelevant factor in the judge.

Your broad brush has little application in the real world.
