Scalia Replacement and Original Intent

Recommended Posts

"At the same time the No. 2 Democrat in the Senate, Alan Cranston of California, the party whip, urged colleagues in a letter to form a ''solid phalanx'' of opposition" to any presidential appointment by the administration to the Supreme Court." Guess which party this is speaking about?
What comes around goes around. I'm frankly very tired the dems acting like they are saints when it comes to this issue. They themselves have played this very political gamesmanship themselves in the Reagan years and again in the Bush years, with Obama himself being involved in filibusters against Bush appointees.

I'm going to speculate that 101 didn't get it all. Or was that "at all"?

Uh - you know that the primary objection to Bush's second SC nomination came from republicans, not democrats, right?
