baronn 111 #26 December 18, 2015 Your assumption is wrong. Yeah , I disagree with why the US is involved in the middle east And whether it's a conspiracy is a seperate issue. I thought this organization was slippery and it turned out to be so. Rather than directing an incorrect personal attack against someone, you might want to just look at the facts If you can..... RopeaDope 0 #28 February 7, 2016 Amazon there are better places to help Veterans... The problem with the wounded Warrior project is the amount of money donated that actually makes it to the veterans. The ones running it are doing very well.. ND they spend an inordinate amount of money suing other veterans groups for daring to help wounded veterans. http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2015/05/04/wounded-warrior-charity-unleashes-hell-on-other-veteran-groups.html Word. I and several close friends of mine are wounded warriors. I'm a member of the Order of the Purple Heart, yet I have never met a "wounded warrior" who has ever received any type of support from WWP. It's a disgraceful scam. There are some good ones out there. I have personal experience with Warrior Hike (www.warriorhike.org) which is a nonprofit ran 100% by a small handful of volunteers. There are also organizations like the VFW, American Legion, Team Red White and Blue, Patriot Guard, and local Vet Centers that do a lot for veterans and their families.
