I have an honest question for you. No games, no hidden agenda, I am genuinely curious. I know that you were not old enough then, but looking at the history, do you support what the US did to the Japanese in this country during the war?

I'll trust your word. I do not like how the U.S. treated Iva Ikuko Toguri D'Aquino, AKA Tokyo Rose. The Japanese camps do not bother me. We took desperate measures during desperate times.

I would not be opposed to refugee holding camps now, similar to Ellis Island, until the immigrants could be properly vetted and vaccinated.

Build a refugee camp, complete with facilities where the refugees can cook, wash, etc for themselves, at Guantanamo Bay until they are completely vetted. No chance of any of them "disappearing" until then. If any of them gets caught by intel via names, fingerprints, etc then they get sent back, or jailed along with the enemy combatants already imprisoned there.

Thanks for the answer. This is what I was really curious about. I was wondering if you are ok with the idea of rounding up and incarcerating American citizens without due process. It tells me all I need to know.

You have to understand the times then. The United States was at war with the Japanese. They were afraid the Japanese-Americans harbored spies/terrorists amongst them that would aid Japan. Like he said, desperate times called for desperate measures. It was WWII.

ISIS stands little chance of orchestrating any massive attacks on American soil, but they can and will carry out lone wolf attacks or small coordinated attacks if they are able to carry out their planning without detection by sympathizers pledging allegiance to ISIS that are already here. Who knows when or where the next attack comes? We have pretty good intel depts (CIA/FBI/ETC) trying to keep tabs on as much as they can, but they can't cover everything.

Now... several state governors have already declared their states will not accept Syrian refugees due to the fact that the Paris attacks were carried out by at least 2 "refugees" that recently entered the country roughly a month or so ago. Is that a harsh decision? Probably. Could any of those refugees be ISIS sympathizers that want to plan and carry out attacks here if they could sneak in? Who knows? Should we take that risk?

Here is an idea, why not establish hold areas for the Syrian widows and orphans only? We should be able to process them quickly. And, it is Biblical.

True, but of course I mean that they were all culturally accepted as white people from a Christian country. And not in any way threatening in their looks nor causing discomfort by their beliefs. Even though they may have once been pledged to National Socialist beliefs, they were able to fit right in.

We are all racist and feel most comfortable when among our own. It is only human to fear outsiders because the lessons of history that allowed us to survive while others perished have taught us this lesson. Now it is in our interests to work to temper those instincts. The world has grown much smaller with our technical advances. The God and belief system that once united western society and helped it to flourish is now holding you and us back.

I was not trying to trap you. I specifically asked about the way we treated Japanese IN THIS COUNTRY. The majority of the people in the camps were Japanese Americans. You have made it very clear that you have a problem with ALL Muslims. I apologize if I mistakenly assumed that when you said you were ok with the Japanese camps you were aware that they were Americans that we were imprisoning. I took that to mean that you were also ok with putting American Muslims into similar camps. I was really not trying to get into a pissing match with you.
