***The EU has to find the best solution - anyway, the leading countries. I'm sure, they'll succeed, setbacks included.

For me as a German, DZ.com is not the place to discuss our actual events over here.

:)

Well
Your events are being discussed in many places
Much to your dismay it seems
Bet that at is may

Your thoughts regarding the linked info?

How much are we betting that at is May?

I'll give you 10 to 1 that it's not.

******So, you are saying that they are is truthful as you are about not wanting to ban guns?

The mods have already given you the "one warning" about making that claim again.

No
there has been no warning for that

" Rush, stop claiming he wants to ban guns"; Billvon, Aug 26, 2015.

>No there has been no warning for that

OK then let me make it even clearer -

The next time you start with the "Kallend wants to ban guns" thing again you will be banned. Even if you just ask "do you still want to ban guns?" or some other weasel method of implying it.

Is that clearer?

>How do you know he doesn't?

Because he has publicly stated he does not.

Bill Clinton publicly stated on national TV that he didn't have relations with Monica lowinsky. Bush flew onto a carrier and publicly stated, " Mission Accomplished". Nixon publicly stated, "I am not a crook."

Not sure where you are going with this.

There is nothing in MY post history to suggest I want to ban guns. Search as hard as you wish.

Making it much more difficult for felons and the mentally ill to get guns does not remotely resemble a ban, unless you happen to be in one of those groups.

Arguably, everyone that skydives could be lumped into that group, from a certain point of view.

You called me. Here I am.

In short, the Merkel has gone nuts! "Bring me all those from the Mid-East and Africa, and we shall welcome them w/ open arms."

Crazy! Suffice it to say that it can't work by the numbers. Muslims and Western values don't mix well. They never will.

Europeans don't support it. And ultimately Germans won't either.

You guys, Americans, take them. You broke it. You own it!
Best of luck!

P.S.: Per NYT, I hear that all those ME refugees are a real asset to any economy. Wonder why Saudi-Arabia, Egypt, or the Gulf States aren't taking any.

P.P.S.: Those refugees are not coming to integrate into an existing society. As I have done, however imperfectly. But they are trying to set up a new Syria in their host-country. I don't support that. To the contrary.

What is going on in your otherwise orderly and prosperous country? Is Merkel out of her mind creating this giant pull factor that's bringing hundreds of thousands (potentially millions) of asylum seekers and migrants to your country by foot and by train?

And what's with the sudden 180-degree turn today with the border controls and the realization that *perhaps* it's a better idea to fund the refugee camps in Syria instead? Are Germans finally waking up to the realization that maybe this wasn't such a good idea after all?

It's Germany that's stuck with this mass now, and Merkel is trying to impose it on the rest of Europe. I'm sure she'll start threatening less funds to force the issue. Anyhow, good luck with your wish to send them to the US -- probably won't happen for any more than 20-30 thousand. For the near future, this is largely Germany's problem...created by Germany.

Egypt has taken in over 100,000. It's the wealthy Gulf states that are taking in next to none. However, Saudi Arabia have made a generous offer to build 200 mosques in Germany. German society is definitely going to change; this is indeed history in the making.

I agree -- a good portion of this immigrating population will be extremely difficult to integrate, and it's not unreasonable or paranoid to assume there may be some ISIS/Al Qaeda element in this crowd as well. After all, most are coming from Afghanistan, Syria and Iraq.

To quote Richard Dawkins: "Islamists ban music, dancing, women's faces, alcohol, women's legs, kite flying, women's arms. Why would they NOT try to ban Oktoberfest?"

I think it's only a matter of time now.

Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.

I dunno. Some of the immigrants or refugees might fit in quite well, some may not. Some of them have no intention to, and will never assimilate. On the other hand, an aspiring clockmaker from East Africa may find a good fit in Bavaria or even Switzerland. He might be able to ply his craft without a federal case being made. Or, maybe the whole idea of expecting integration into the host society is "cuckoo" ...or "nutty".

This is a coded reference to bombmaking, right?

I didn't make any references, "coded" or otherwise, to bombmaking, ...clockmaking, but not bombmaking. I think the new standard here is that if I don't come right out and state a position, one cannot be inferred (or is it "implied"?) maybe "deduced".

Is this a slight against electricians and electronics specialists?

Maybe you've been asleep for a few days. It refers to small town Texas police and high schools.

funny, I thought it was a reference to kallend and banning guns
If some old guy can do it then obviously it can't be very extreme. Otherwise he'd already be dead.
