Planned Parenthood and the term "slippery slope" .

Recommended Posts

It's called "tissue".
You ever read the forms when you sign off on a chunk of your body for testing?

A liver, brain, heart, lungs et al are called organs

I think there is a small segment of the US military that are sick and depraved people. perhaps we should defund the entire US military for the same logic no?

Are they selling baby parts?

Considering an aborted fetus is not a baby, neither is Planned Parenthood.

The very sick postions that you have to fall back on to cover you butt

In any event
Corp supporters are dropping them with no protestes needed

So basically, this is the old Dateline NBC stuff. So fetuses are aborted. The tissues are being sold to research facilities. Isn't that awful?

It's illegal. No, probably isn't.
It's gruesome. Yeah, probably is. Much like many medical procedures.
It's being treated as a commercial transaction. Yeah. Because it's a business.
Well, let's call them baby parts. Okay. So long as we call organ donations "corpse parts"

This is making more of it than it is. In the long term, this will end up blowing back. It's how it always happens. Eventually, a story will come out about REALLY engaging in black market fetal organs. But the outrage from it will be lost because this already happened.

Kinda like calling Obama a Socialist or a Marxist. Yeah, sounds great until a real one like Sanders comes along. And in the long run, maybe the shouldn't have been saying that about Obama. Because he looks pretty moderate now, doesn't he?

Disgusting

If those organs can save others? I am all for changing the process to save lives.

I do not see why they need government funding.

Because it was supported by President Nixon. Here are his own words.

So you are a closet Nixon supporter

Who knew......

I voted for him.... I voted for Ford... I voted for Saint Ronald ONCE.... and I have been very open about it.

BUT Saint Ronald had more people indicted and convicted for more felonies than any other president ... somehow the GOP faithful do not seem to have an issue with that.
His people had carte blance because he was too far gone with his affliction to actually be in control in his presidency.... He did play being the president well though... perhaps he should get an honorary Oscar for his performance

I could share your outrage if Planned Parenthood was the decision maker with regards to the abortion, but that isn't the case.

I could not watch the vids

Made me sickB|

You being grossed out has little to do with the morality or lawlessness of anything. Maybe you are just a sissy.

I have tended to a few bounce scenes, so it does not bother me at all.

They were going to be killed anyway. The question that remains is - do you use the organs to save others, or just throw those lifesaving organs in the toilet and flush it? (to use equally emotional terms)

Are they selling baby parts?

worse than that, they are murdering civilians in war zones and then letting the bodies and all those good parts go to waste.....

Looking at civilians being blown up by bombs makes me sick, but it doesn't seem to bother you.

I once watched a video of a hip replacement surgery. That made me want to throw up too.

Hey look!
The goal post is moving again!
:|

It's disgusting that you would oppose a woman's decisions about her own body.
How would you feel if you were blocked from a medical procedure you felt you needed?
I'm neutered and would be pretty angry if someone that has invisible friends and hears voices was able to get access to that procedure blocked.

Well . . . that's completely different! If a liberal tried to block a medical procedure he wanted, it would be an example of how liberals hate freedom, how the nanny state was trying to rape you, and how Obama's "death board" was trying to decide your life for you, like all liberals do. Oh, and Benghazi.

If planned parenthood were found to be coercing women who were "on the fence" into having abortions or performing procedures that exposed women to greater risk (such as waiting longer than necessary) without their knowledge and were doing so with the intent of maximizing the ability to harvest tissue and/or organs for sale, then I'd be outraged alongside you.

As it stands, that's not happening. I understand you don't like abortions, but I find "death by paper cuts and bureaucracy" methods of fighting a woman's right to choose more disgusting than anything proven to be going on here.

Outrage? No, more like disgust

Aimed at anyone who would support selling baby organs for profit

Any anyone who would support such actions

OK, then how about organ donation from babies and children who die in accidents? The hospital will make money from the surgery.

How about hospitals making money off blood that was donated by people who thought it was going directly to someone who needed it?

If the deaths, donations, and, yes, abortions are going to happen anyway, is it better to get the most good from something bad, or simply to waste it?

There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. It removes fear of the consequences and builds false confidence. (tbrown)

Do you feel a similar amount of disgust for the company poisoning families and children .. born and living downwind of your coal fired plants providing them with slow lingering death??
http://thegazette.com/subject/news/alliant-energy-to-upgrade-iowa-coal-plants-pay-fine-as-part-of-clean-air-settlement-20150715

Interstate Power and Light will install new pollution control technology at its two largest plants, in Lansing and Ottumwa, and retire or convert to natural gas five plants in Cedar Rapids, Dubuque, Burlington, Clinton and Marshalltown, the EPA reports.

“This settlement will eliminate thousands of tons of harmful air pollution each year, significantly improving air quality in Iowa and throughout the Midwest,” U.S. Attorney Kevin Techau of Iowa’s Northern District said in a prepared statement.

The EPA estimates the settlement will reduce sulfur dioxide emissions by 32,500 tons per year and nitrogen oxide emissions by 3,800 tons per year once fully implemented. The pollutants, converted to particulate matter in the air, can harm respiratory and cardiovascular systems and contribute to acid rain, smog and haze.
