Plenty of examples of that happened in the past. One of the most famous was George O'Leary, who interviewed for and won the Notre Dame football coach position, and then was fired what, weeks later, for embellishing his resume. Fact is, Rachel misrepresented who she was, and deserved to lose her job over it.
