Second, my thoughts are always around the idea that sleep deprivation, continuous rock music and water boarding are acceptable means of interrogation. That is the practice I defend. Oh, I don't think putting women's panties on a Muslim's head is torture either.

Third, think about the state of mind we were in on 12 Sep 2001.

You can't focus on anything in the BHO administration and his reign of power without creating division, divisiveness, and extreme anger. Corruption and general decline in the values and race relations are destroying our pride in America.

We were very very angry and very very frightened.

Neither of those are good states of mind for considered, rational actions.

There were a number of attacks on people who "looked Arab," but weren't. IIRC, an Indian (dot, not feather) was murdered. Not Arab, not Muslim, but he "looked like it."

I did a quick search but couldn't find what I was looking for.

The level of hatred towards anyone who "looked like a 'mooslim'" showed how some people really felt.

Kind of like the level of hatred towards Obama.

Anyone who believes waterboarding is not so bad, should try it. I tried it. Didn't last one minute. I cannot imagine being strapped down and forced to endure hours of such treatment.

I agree that some of those in detention deserve what is coming to them. I also believe that many had no connection, other than being an enemy combatant on the wrong side. Much like German or Japanese soldiers.

This country prosecuted those who waterboard our own soldiers in WW2 and called it torture. We vowed to never act in such a manner and to conduct ourselves in the manner we wish to be treated if captured. We should never lower ourselves just because they do it. We are far better than our enemy.

I would state it as past tense. When we did it, it was OK. We probably will never do it again. We will find something more terrifying that produces more predictable results. Remember the purpose is to scare you enough to break your will to resist.

The matter at hand is whether anyone in the government was deceived about the nature of the interrogations as claimed in the report. They were not.

Everyone knows the whole Obamacare turd pile was an intent to deceive as Mr. Gruber verified.
