Not really.

Wendy's used to own Tim Horton's. THe combo units stem from an idea of an executive at Scott's Food Services. They have worked so well that even after Wendy's ownership of TH ended they continued with the combined concept.

TH already operates a Cold Stone Ice Cream concept in some of their TH coffee locations.
