You sure you don't want to edit it? Why would I want to edit it? It's fairly well known that California is one of the states that subsidizes welfare states like Florida, Louisiana, and Mississippi. Wasn't he complaining about his total taxes? That total tax bill could be lower (or he would receive increased government services for the same taxes) if Californians weren't subsidizing welfare states.Math tutoring available. quade 3 #33 January 25, 2013 Yes, and state taxes are deductible from Federal as well. He also got his figures very wrong in terms of total taxes. He said he was paying something like 60%. So, he really has his head up his ass if he's doing them himself or his accountant is ripping him off or doing a horrible job. But again . . . This thread is moot.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

He's joined the ranks of the GOP who prefer to bitch and whine, rather than actually do anything. If he really wants to do something symbolic and pointless, though, he could hire a few people then fire them "because of Obamacare." It's all the rage. Guess you can now say the same about Tina Turner too Tina Turner has lived in Switzerland since 1995. She moved there with her SO, who is German, to get on with the next phase of her personal life, and has resided there, virtually full-time, ever since. She learned German, and has integrated herself into the society of her adopted country. So after 18 years away, and apparently with every intent of remaining at her SO's side in Switzerland for the rest of her life, why is is not, finally, about time for her to stop paying taxes to the US? Thanks to Google, I did a quick survery of news stories about this. With one exception, every article, from every news agency, has been pretty neutral about it. The one exception I found was...wait for it... Fox News, which bashed her for it. Gee, what a surprise.
