A georgia mother of 9 year old twins shot a 32 year old man who had the family cornered in an upstairs crawl space.
The invader has a police record including battery.
Good thing she exercised her constitutional right to bear arms to protect her and her children from this guy who used a crowbar to break through three doors to get to them.

There are some people in SC that claim they can prevent an intruder from entering their home, eliminating the need for a firearm. I'm sure they'll speak up soon with some advice as to how they could have prevented this act of violence.

Yep,MSN only wants to paint guns and gun owners as evil.
They would have us believe guns are more lethal and violent than anything else,yet she had to shoot the bad guy five times and he was still able to run back to his car and drive it into a pole.
I bet if she were able to hit him in the side of the head with a sledge hammer he would have died instantly,but it is easier to take a sledge hammer away from a smaller weaker person than to try and take a handgun from them when it's pointing at you,and it is much harder to swing hammers and clubs when you are trying to hide in close quarters with two children cowering next to you.

Good for her! She did the right thing, defended her life and the lives of her children. The guy had no business being there and was in the home without permission. A 'good' gun story. Good job, Mom!!

Getting shot to death,clubbed to death,beaten to death,or stabbed to death is still death.
People have been killed by people for as long as there have been people.

I guess while we're at it we should also report on the 115 or so innocent people killed on a typical day in the USA by the automobile.

Wait. Drugs are already illegal along with impaired driving. So that problem has already been solved.

I think we should place a ban on sports cars and have ignition interlocks placed in all automobiles to disable the vehicle if you have been consuming alcohol. What will we do about those people impaired on drugs though.
