Heres a shocker:

(Gasp:o)

A New England University found Fox news not reliable!!!! Here are a few more news stories you might find just as shocking!!!!

Hugo Chavez does study: U.S. is the root of all evil

Saudi Arabia does study: Uppity women need beating

Lesbians do study: Boys are icky

Truly shocking.......:S

I don't even watch fox news and I find this silly. If that is not one biased article, then I don't know what is. I don't know how they get 616 people polled showing the view of 300 million. With such a small sample taken, I wonder how many of those 616 were FOX viewers.

The great thing about this study is you can try it your self. Ask some of your friends who watch Fox some of the same questions in the study, I did and got the same results.

Coreece sent me a sincere apology and I wish him well during this sometimes difficult time of year. Sometimes this forum can bring out the worse in us, I know it can to me.

Statistics is an interesting field.

Statistically speaking, based on the daily responses of FAUX News veiwers over the last 7 years in Speakers Corner, I would have to say that the study is validated.

Based on my observations of SC, the only people that even bring up reports from FOX news are the people that start silly threads like this one, and/or use childish names while discribing things!

See that is where an edumakation might have helped to to not swallow so many of those hooks with all those sinkers attached to them with all that line in the daily FAUX "news" reports.

SERIOUSLY, that has GOT to be dangerous when you shart one of those fuckers while riding:ph34r::ph34r::ph34r: never know what it might catch on :D:D:D

"What do most scientists think about climate change?"

"Is the economy getting better?"

"Was Obama born in the United States?"

Seriously... I want anyone to tell me with a straight face that this survey was anything other than contrived and narcissistic democrat ego-porn.

I don't know. Trying to stay truly informed is tough for me. I try to catch some FOX, some MSNBC and SC for info on issues that affect my way of life. I think certain people/posters on both sides of the isle are generally more informed than others... would you agree?

Regardless of partisanship, anyone that gets their news from the major networks is going to be misinformed to a certain extent.

Major media in this country (especially fox, and to a lesser degree msnbc) is entertainment not reporting.

It - IS - rather difficult to be everywhere all at once. So you have to get your news from somewhere.

Funny thing is - even if you WERE able to be everywhere at once - you would still be "misinformed to a certain extent." (Perception is reality and all that.)B|

If you can use the internet you can find many news sources and pretty well inform yourself of what is actually going on. If you get your news from the boob tube, well, you're going to be kind of a boob.
