Vote for Worst President of Our Lifetime

Recommended Posts

There's a scientificaly biased poll in another thread reported from some where else. This is a un-scientificaly biased poll we create. Since all politics are local, let's see what our community thinks after a couple of hundred votes.

Remember, you're voting for the WORST.

I voted GWB ... but there is still plenty of time for Obama to continue his uncontrolled spending which could change my opinion down the road some time in the not too distant future. But at least for now, GWB still takes the cake for being an absolute idiot and the worst I have seen in my life time.

How am I supposed to know who to vote for without the R or the D next to their name.

Everybody knows this is the only thing that matters...

One vote just is not enough.

I don't think so either. I wanted to allow 3 or 4 votes per voter but didn't know how to do that. I guess you could go back to the poll severel times to cast as many votes as you care to. Cumbersome.

You realize some folks here have only been around for the last four or five presidents, right? Can't really say Rooselvelt or Ike are part of a twenty-something's lifetime.

You can only vote once by default. The software is smart enough to know if you return, that you've already cast a vote, and won't allow you to do it again.

But when you create the poll, you can check a box to allow multiple votes. Those multiple votes are again, a one time deal.

"Guard your honor, let your reputation fall where it will, and outlast the bastards."

It's the ones who have outlasted the bastards that might have an opinion on FDR, Truman, Ike, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, and Carter.

And to JohnRich, yeah, I never noticed the one time vote thing before. I should've just checked the "Allow Multiple Votes" box. These dang computers are as smart as a thermos bottle. ;)

Allowing multiple votes would allow people to vote for multiple presidents as the worst -- it wouldn't allow them to vote multiple times for the same one.

>I suspect a couple years ago it would have been GWB and Clinton.

Yep. And in 20 years the GOP will vote for the last democratic president, and the democrats will vote for the last GOP president. Hate and anger have been proven to be far better political tools than anything else.

Anyone consider it telling that the two runaways are the two most recent? I suspect a couple years ago it would have been GWB and Clinton.

I'm not smart enough to have predicted it but it doesn't supprise me. The voters with the broader perspective in mind probably voted for Carter who is, I think, a good man but eas a bad Pres. What did supprise me a lot was the vote for FDR. He's usually in the the top 5 of the BEST. The single votes for Kennedy and Johnson are probably ex hippies. :)

May be a newsflash, but GWB wasn't president of Canada. ;)

Yes, which is why some kids like you should have a seperate play area so the adults can converse w/o distraction.
