Straight up-very intelligent man. Most people have had to get at least one real private sector, pay for performance job by this point in their life

Perhaps if your boy had learned to actually use his teleprompter a bit sooner... he could have avoided being seen as a rube.

Then again.. he did everything he could do to try for pandering to the not so bright.

It's bad enough that the "Cut n' Paste" nazi roams these forums, but to pull out the "spelling and grammar" nazi tactics is laughable. We are all human, we all make mistakes. I never see you complaining about Lucky's posts yet he is one of the worst offenders of "spelling and grammar" here. So someone starts a thread you do not like and your instant reaction is to attack their spelling and grammar? Give me a break.

He/she who lives the perfect life and who has never made a mistake, cast the first stone.

Believe what you will Steve.. stupidity makes my head hurt.... repeated stupidity.... needs to be addressed

That post..... was just wrong on far too many levels :S:S:S

Uh….and as far as those long assed posts.. are you a friggin masochist?

I quit reading them long ago:ph34r:

i second , now back to topic........

Can we diverge for a second and talk about spell checkers and capitalization as well as some semblance of proper useage of the English language?

I love it when people complain about spelling and make spelling mistakes in their post.

;)

I was waiting to see if he caught it.:ph34r:

Spell-check certainly shows it...but alas... you throw them a bone..... and they just keep barking and miss the obvious.

what's funny was I crossed wires typing that and typed slepping errors

I love typos even more... and my dyslexic fingers ALWAYS try to get me in trouble.

I have a slaptop with its standard non-ergonomic keyboard.. that as I am typing... all of a sudden jumps the cursor up several lines in the middle of things I already typed... THAT drives me to distraction.

When I see the Republicans all praise Reagan I just cringe. He killed labor by firing the PATCO members. He was the original "Cut and Run' president when the Marines were bombed in Beiruit. That let Hamas have some power to get rolling. He ran the National debt up with his Ray Gun policy. The Russians were already in a state of decline. The Berlin Wall was already a bad idea and the Republicans LOVE to give Ronny all of the credit for their demise.
Jimmy Carter gets a bad rap because of the failed hostage crisis rescue attempt and the economy under his term. Well, the steel industry was closing in America fast, and under Reagan it went kaput. He wasn't great, but not as bad as most think.
GWB, worst ever. Period.
Obama has taken over our nation at it's darkest hour. Presidents shouldn't be held accountable for the economy as much as the media and the people hold them accountable for. The economy is driven by thousands of factors. Time will tell about Obama.
Nixon was buffoon, but great politician.
LBJ did a lot to help out the poor and civil rights in America. The war in Vietnam wore him down. He cared.
GHWB, Iran Contra. Enough said.
Clinton, America thrived. Right place, right time. The economy was at a great cycle in time. The age of the internet drove stocks and business through the roof. A master politician. A dirt bag personally.

But the worst POTUS we will ever see in our lifetime will be the hockey mom from Alaska.:P

I have great hope.. that "conservative" Americans are not THAT fucking stupid... I may be wrong.... but... I did not think it possible for 50+ million imbeciles to vote for W:S:S:S

Did ANY of them look at his resume and all those "successful" businesses he ran... and then expect him to do better with running our country????

With her resume.. the first time it gets hard she will quit and transfer to another school:S:S

Odd,
I don't think any of the presidents mentioned thus far qualify as the worst in our lifetime.
I was leaning towards Robert Mugabe, Jacob Zuma, some Asian leaders....

Forgive me for thinking outside the USA box on an international forum. I feel like a heretic now.
:o:P

Perhaps, some posters here never ever heard any of the names you quoted. Some surely know there is any life below the (approx.) 30' latitude ..... :P

US posters just keep the majority here and thus believe, it's their backyard. So what. :|

"Obviously, there's not great validity to it since they've only been in office for one year," says the survey's co-director and statistician Douglas Lonnstrom.

So we can ignore the Obama question until Nov 2012.

I'm going to exclude the 70s, since I was watching cartoons.

Worst
Shrub - decisively lousy leadership
Carter - indecisively lousy leadership
CIA Bush - continued with Reaganomics. Didn't finish off Iraq, leading to inevitable 2nd round.
Reagan - mixture of debt spending and constitutional violations and general improvement for the country.
Clinton - temporarily restored semblance of spending balance, outweighs weakness on foreign affairs.

Yup. She could run on the Palin/Joe the Plumber ticket and win. She could name Daffy Duck to be her running mate and win.

Why?

Because "most" of the people in the US of A are a collective bunch of retards.

It would take way too much bandwidth to detail, but the hack jobs by the "Tea Party" and the Republicans, Fox News, etc are playing so much greater of a political game than Obama, it will lead to his demise. It's "Swift Boat" politics.

I think the guy is trying pretty hard to right the ship. The USA is the Titanic hitting the iceberg after eight torturous years under GWB. But people don't get that. And all of the Socialism, Marxist, etc rhetoric is so over the top it's ludicrous.

The Republicans are the party of bad ideas and the Democrats are the party of no ideas.

The way we currently handle our democracy will be the downfall of America. So yeah, I think Palin will get elected. That will be a sad day in our history. She is a money grubbing dunce.:S

Now back to the worst ever thread.

I nominate this entire thread for worst use of bandwidth of our lifetime.

Nah, it's the runner-up. The "why are liberal mods mean to me?" thread is the worst. Pages and pages of nothing but people telling each other: "I think you're a dick"; "Oh yeah? Well you're a bigger dick." Fucking brilliant.

did you read the swift boat book you criticise ?
unfit for command ?

Written by O'Neill and Corsi? One guy that served after John Kerry and one guy that never went to Vietnam. That piece of garbage?

Did you read it?

"The road to Hell is paved with..."

His Great Society policies theorized that by throwing unlimited money (our taxes)
at poverty, that it would be changed.

He institutionalized generational welfare dependency.

Instead, eventually even the Dems realized that giving
people carte blanche was not a solution and Clinton
set limits on bottomless welfare programs.
