It's an interesting point though, when it comes to politicians in general, the acceptance of lies about policy and perfomance. Politicians are allowed a huge amount of leeway in lying, distorting and misrepresenting in work related issues. Maybe it's accepted because it's so widespread. A commentator over here made the point that if a CEO reported to his board with the level of accuracy a cabinet minister might report to parliament he could face charges of coporate fraud. You must show Obama intentionally misled thru deceptive promises. Simply saying you want to achive a given thing and not being able to perform isn't a lie; the burden is on you to show intentional, premeditated deceit, not just your random opinion. For example Obama said he would get us out of Iraq soon, he ended the war but there is still a presence. Another is the HC deal, he made promises of uni-care, but that was beyond his control; he wanted to but congress couldn't give him that.
