Opposition is futile because there is no way to determine a winner or a loser. Judgment of the soul comes at death of the physical body. Opponents are just barking in cyberspace for the attention it brings.

OH YES THERE IS, you have a claimed "End of Days" date, the day AFTER that date, I win and you lose:ph34r::ph34r:

By then you and your ilk will come up with some "misinterpretation" of the given date and re-re-re-adjust it accordingly:ph34r::ph34r:
You are not now, nor will you ever be, good enough to not die in this sport (Sparky)

How's yours doing?

Sorry squeak, you are mistaken here. I have never claimed an "End of Days" date. I believe there is such a time but I have no clue when that will be.

I just wait, watch and listen.
Look for the shiny things of God revealed by the Holy Spirit. They only last for an instant but it is a Holy Instant. Let your soul absorb them.

At my ex-wifes church, that was the standard practice.
My mother-in-law and I used to joke about the
"annual end-of-the-world date announcement party".

Every year, they would explain why the old date was wrong
and why the new date was going to be accurate.
It was always a motivator for the morally-slacking.

An overused concept.

"Oh! You better watch out, You better not cry, You better not pout,
I'm telling you why: Mythical Judgment Person is coming to town!"
:D

It seems like religious adults can't achieve morally
ideal behavior without the carrot/stick motivators.
As a group, it makes them comparable to 6 yo kids
who get the Santa Claus threat in the grocery store aisle.

"Better not steal or murder, or (deity) won't give you
(insert after-death paradise flavor)"

I manage to not commit murder most of the year without
any incentives.
