Nothing to do with whether you study the candidates, issues, etc. Just do you vote at all?

This applies to other countries as well (although I know there are countries where voting is compulsory, I don't think they're well-enough represented to skew the results).

We've seen proud non voters here in SC. Unfortunately, I don't trust the results, both for honesty, and self selection bias.

I cast a ballot nearly every time, but I refrain from casting votes on issues about which I don't feel adequately informed. Thus, sometimes I vote; sometimes I don't.

When analyzing your results you should probably consider that those who are voting in your poll are those with a propensity for voting.

When we first got married we discussed our vote with the "boss" after the fact.

We soon found out that although we were both voteing sometimes we were voteing for different sides/people of the issue


We continue to vote but the boss is more committed to the process than I am so I just cast my vote the same as hers. At least we're not cancelling ea others vote out.

The only downside to this imo is by voteing it sets us up fory jury duty, and thats a bitch
