Northern Idaho is perfect for you I hear. You wont see anyone like Barack Obama there.... although there might be one or two in SandPoint or Cour d'Alene who retired from the military but certainly none around Hayden Lake

For what ? Yikes, read the news

A) Consider that the US Congress declared War on the Iraqi government under the pretext of housing weapons of mass destruction, which has admittedly proven to have been false.

B) Using the Patriot Act as a the means to conduct illegal spying operations (wiretapping, surveillance, etc) in domestic soil, against the citizens of the United States.

C) Using the Executive Privileges as the means to illegally block investigations of violations of US and International Law.

D) Manipulation of the US government to create conditions which enrich the pockets fo personal friends and family, including the direct relationship between the Vice President of the US and Halliburton; promoting and conducting war to destabilize oil supplies which resulted in market increases favoring the oil-producing states.

The above ones are my own , or you can read the proposed articles of impeachment from www.impeachbush.org:

Let me guess, you 'love' guns, drive a large vehicle, don't recycle (or couldn't give a shit about it) voted for GWB (twice), agree with the iraq war, and have spent minimal or if any time out of the united states?

Hey now.. some of us who love to hunt and drive large trucks are a tad more diverse than our all too common dumb as dirt countrymen.

I have a few guns.... cant say I love them but I know how to use them.. I do hunt.. I do love to go shooting at the range and I reload my own ammunition.

I have a 2003 Dodge Ram Cummins diesel 3/4 ton 4x4( gets 23 MPG). I use it to tow my large boats, take it to the mudpit and get it very dirty...take it hunting far up in the mountains..... take my garbage to the dump..pick up fencing or building materials... all the fun things I can do with it.( I do also have a daily commuter a VW Diesel Beetle that get 50 MPG)

I do recycle

I did not vote for the Pompous Ass in Charge either time.

Some of us even served our country...8 years for me, Unlike my Incompetent Chimp in Charge.

I thought the Iraq war was a stupid mistake and a failed attempt of a group of men trying to show how manly they were.....too bad they did not go themselves. "OH look something shiney" is no way to run a foreign policy.

I have been to about 40 countries so far.. so I have traveled around the world...which has been a wonderful education to raise awareness above that of my far to insular countrymen. When traveling I tend to avoid places frequented by the all too alive and well "Ugly American"

America has the potential to be a great nation again. We literally ARE the world, composed of peoples from every nationality and every race. I think we are the greatest experiment for human beings to come together and live as one people that this planet has seen so far. To fail at this experiment would be to return to the wonderful example set by the Balkans....or the tribalism of Africa,Afghanistan or Iraq. I think anyone who has looked has seen how well that works out.

And if given a choice between the two we have now and Bush, I would vote Bush again.

Long way from my first choice but given what we got, reality.

My first choice would have been Duncan Hunter (granted there was much to learn about him yet)

I WILL NOT VOTE FOR OBAMA

McCain has his issues, there has never been a perfect candidate or president, however he is definitly the lesser of two evils.

I will freely admit that when it comes to politics, I definitly don't know a whole lot, HOWEVER I do know that I was raised Democrat, and have choosen to switch parties on my own, it wasn't a hard decision.

And before all you idiots start attacking my
intelligence, I have two college degrees... and graduated on the dean's list twice. ;)

Power may fail, but there are measures that can be taken to avoid such a thing.

As for lack of government, that is a bonus.

Many times too much government is the real menace.

Until the next hurricane hits Belize.

Unlike Mayor Palin, I've been throughout Central America. I won't be returning to Belize, however. The overfishing near San Pedro means acres of nice coral with nothing swimming.

The complete absence of government oversight is rarely a good thing in the developing world.

Uh, you do realize the political deadline for an impeachment attempt is long passed, and eliminated when Pelosi said it was off the table?

Your bullet points show similar lack of understanding. The Patriot Act legalized those abuses - that was the problem with it. Executive privilege has always been an effective manner for the President to prevent investigation. Manipulating industry- every action the government takes has an effect - and the Bush family is likely to benefit regardless.

Ultimately it comes down to the propaganda behind the second war in Iraq, and in a real trial, you have to show willful intent to deceive and knowledge that Iraq really didn't have WMDs, rather than a reasonable belief coupled with shoddy evidence to support it. In a political trial as it would be in the Senate, you have to get Republicans to go along, and that's not going to happen for offenses short of Nixon.

The history of US wars over the past century show a frequent tendency towards false or questionable events: the destruction of the Maine and the Lusitania, the Gulf of Tonkin non event, the need to invade Grenada, even the surprise attack at Pearl Harbor that FDR needed to enter the war.

Bush will leave office in a few months, and that will be it. When the troops finally leave Iraq, either it will fall back into chaos, or it will be the safe stable place the GOP claims the surge made it. At that point, we can evaluate that part of the Bush legacy. Beyond that, he'll be known for redefining fiscal incompetence and for continuing the DC war on civil liberties.

Believe it or not, I like to hunt too! If I owned a boat or a snowmobile i would probably drive a big vehicle, for those purposes.

But, there are far too many people that are Gun fanatics that don't hunt, drive large F250's with nothing in the back, and all the other things i mentioned.

i am not so closed minded that i think large vehicles and guns in general should be banned.

Just redneck, closed minded, brainwashed, racist, fuckwit assholes that do these things......

...just because. They really piss me off.

Some of the crap that comes from thier mouths is quite amusing sometimes.

We didn't, why? We have it quite nice actually.

You republican party has done so well at running your country and effecting the global economic situation, why would we want any change.

pilot-one, Your remarks about Australia are pitifull. Read a history book or two. They are one of our greatest allies.

I think he was commenting on New Zealand? If not I remove my comments about the shooting of mammals as there are plenty here in Australia that are on the brink of extinction.

If he was talking about Australia then his comment 'small island' is quite humerous as Australia is about the same in size as the USA and texas is smaller than one of the smallest states in Aus.

anyhoo, back to Obama, Mcsame is losing ground and is hanging in by the skin of his teeth.
