Yeah, the police are always right 'cos, like, they're the police and by definition anyone being beaten up by a policeman/woman must be a criminal. Hell, why do we even have Internal Affairs departments? The police will surely continue to function perfectly and with no corruption or abuses of power if we all just leave them alone and allow them to function without oversight.

Lots in the local Tampa news about this. Sheriff is pissed and will probably fire the officer. Four were suspended over this, 3 supervisors and the deputy. She was a 20 year officer! I know of the sheriff and this officer won't be back.
