champu 1 #2 May 15, 2007 QuoteA new Gallup Poll finds continued low levels of public support for both Congress and President George W. Bush... ...Approval ratings of Congress are higher among Democrats than Republicans, while Bush's ratings are much higher among Republicans. How very insightful. JohnRich 4 #3 May 15, 2007 The headline: Congress Approval Down to 29%; Bush Approval Steady at 33%How ironic, that the Democratic Congress that was going to save America from President Bush, has an even lower approval rating than President Bush... quade 3 #6 May 15, 2007 QuoteThe hidden silver lining for republicans after the '06 rout - they have someone to bash again! Yep! No doubt about it. The American People just didn't give the Republicans enought time and now, after years of responsible Republican leadership in Congress, the Democrats, in just a few, short, months have totally destroyed everything! No wonder Iraq is such a mess.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

lawrocket 3 #15 May 15, 2007 I LOVE the "Congressional Job Approval Rating by Party ID" graph. Oct. 20, 2006 - 42% of Repubs and 12% of Dems Jan 18, 2007 - 32% Repubs and 16% of Dems. Feb 1, 2007 - 37% of Repubs and 44% of Dems. So, what we see is a dramatic increase and decrease in approval rating in the span of a couple weeks because the majority party changed. It didn't mean Congress accomplished anything in that time. There was just a change of party. My wife is hotter than your wife.

Can't see truth because of the loss of seats it might causeEven worse, they do see it but ignore it just the same!!
