QuoteBOTH Apple and Microsoft took the original idea of the GUI and mouse device from XEROX.. when XEROX did not want to persue developing it farther.
Actually. The mousy clicky operating system WAS developed by Xerox and they tried to sell it to IBM and they didn't want it Apple purchased it and developed the macintosh. Bill Gates approached Apple and said he wanted to work with them as thier product was better as he had already been producing operating systems for IBM. Apple gave him two Macs before they even put them on the market and thats how Bill got the operating system. He tweaked it into windows and then sold it separate to the computers. and was the richest man in the world within a few years.

It's really funny in retrospect to read this rubbish:

Well, the humor has to be tempered with the realization that the Bush Doctrine has cost thousands of lives, $(hundreds of Billions), has made the US look impotent at the hands of a rag-tag bunch of radicals, and has not actually achieved any goal.

And Mrs. Lincoln enjoyed the play.

The original TV line was regarding Mr. Phelps. Mr. Phelps played the bad guy in the MI movie, but he was the star of the TV series which aired from '66 to '73

Here's an interesting view on how Bush has pissed away the US's leverage as a superpower:
