I need a gun. What should I get?

Recommended Posts

Well, a little while ago I wrote about how my girlfriend thought about renting herself out to help pay for rent. Well, we went ahead and decided to give it a test run, and man things went bad quick.

Her first night she was supposed to go to this executives place. Well she got there a little bit early and ended up witnessing a murder. So she left without showing up and said she just changed her mind and didn't want to go through with it any more.

Well they realized why she didn't show up and they're looking for us now. We've been staying at a friends place. I don't know if we should go the cops because what she was doing was illegal as well. So we thought about just getting a gun for protection, but I've never shot a gun before and neither has she so I don't really know what to get. Someone told me to get an AK-47, but I always thought that AR-15s were supposed to be better. Are those good or is there something else I should look for?

Okay well sounds like you are in a pickle. Um I would go to the Cops. Jsut admit you made a mistake and they can help you out. Also she never commited an act so your fine. Also I told you it was a bad idea. But If you need to get a Gun. Get an AR-15 I have an AR-15 by bushmaster very good alround gun. But also I dont think you should be getting an assault Rifle thats a little intense. Just get a regular hand gun if you need one. I think getting a gun and moving back in is a bad idea. Also you dont want to end up having to kill somone that would suck if you ask me. But a bushmaster is a good pick and its very accurate. The rounds a .223 is a bit expensive but anyway. Good luck with that. CALL THE COPS!!!

The most important thing is to get one without serial numbers so it can't be traced when they find after you've shot someone.

Go find the local Hells Angels and ask then to supply something. Doesn't need to be great quality as you are going to dump it after the first use.

The fact that you're seriously considering this (and by this I mean both facets) is shear lunacy. You're going to go get a gun which you know nothing about or how to shoot. I give you about a 6-9% chance of living if "they" show up, b/c most likely they've used guns before and you haven't, they're probably used to something like this and you're gonna shit your pants when it goes down, etc. Go to the police, it's the ONLY good choice you have.

actually 5.56mm costs only around $180.00 per 1000 rounds and that's M855/SS109

Be advised that the SAAMI .223 is not the same round as the NATO 5.56. Most manufacturers of ammunition and rifles do not recommend firing the 5.56 in rifle chambered for the .223. Some manufacturers use a modified SAAMI .223 chambering to safely fire both or chamber the gun in 5.56 and call it a .223/5.56. It is perfectly safe to fire a .223 in a 5.56 chambering

SAAMI specifically warns against the use of 5.56mm ammo in .223 chambers.

Of course many people get away with it but I don't feel it is fair for you to imply they are the same. Many manufacturers advise against such a practice
That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.

Oh.. OH.. I forgot!!!

Make sure you get as big a caliber as you can afford!

You want to blow a big hole so that you only have to hit the target once! A large number of rounds in the clip is also a good idea. Might take a few tries to hit the target so make sure you have more chances than you need with lots of bullets!
