tlipiec 0 #1 November 25, 2016 Lads and Ladettes, Just a quick question, maybe someone knows: I'm looking to buy UPT Vector 308 (2nd hand). Seller sent me a pic of the label with tray & harness sizing. MLW is stated as 17 + 1, which seems a bit unusual. What does that mean? I.e. was it MLW 17 and then harness got resized to MLW 18 or what? Cheers for your help, Tom# 2092 Stay away from the rivers
fluffyduckie 6 #2 November 25, 2016 The first number (17) is the length of the MLW. The +1 is the additional length added to the yoke from standard to compensate For how thick you are front to back. It allows the 3 ring to sit in the proper position on your shoulders. It is not uncommon to see a + 1 or +2. A reharness to an 18" MLW is not the same thing."I love when humans fly,"
skydiverek 54 #3 December 5, 2016 I believe +1 is for a longer stabilizer, not a yoke.
fluffyduckie 6 #4 December 7, 2016 Per Engineering at UPT, the +1 etc indicates the OSA, or over the shoulder adjustment of the yoke, not stabilizer adjustment or stagger."I love when humans fly,"
