yougo1st 0 #1 October 31, 2016 The middle of my Mamba helmet has become hideously crazed. I purchased a replacement shield, but I've yet to install it. This shield makes such a radical bend in the center that I'm afraid of getting cracks in the new one. I'm thinking of leaving the new shield in a hot car all day to soften it up before attempting the installation. Has anyone changed their shield and has a few tips they want to share? If it does crack when you install it we'll replace it, but we haven't had any crack on installation.
