I'm Sorry, but Bush HAS 2 GO!!

Recommended Posts

I have never in my life been more disgusted with a leader, any leader, of anything(!) than I am with the President of my own country. How can the rest of the greater Republican population NOT SEE what an ABSURD EGO TRIP this man is on??? It boggles the mind if you don't.

The Family Marriage Amendment (FMA) that was shot down in the Senate yesterday was not only UNNECESSARY in the first place, but stands for NOTHING our forefathers fought (and our brothers/sisters/sons/daughters STILL fight) to make this country out to be; a country of individual, free thinking, free acting, REPRESENTED members of unionized states all living with the *hope* of the 3 basic pursuits GUARANTEED to us in the first paragraph of the VERY DOCUMENT they're trying to Amend.

It further disgusts me that the Democratic Senator in the VERY STATE I LIVE IN voted in SUPPORT of the Amendment. You can rest assured his arse won't be anywhere near the GA Senate next year, if I have my way about it.

I've seen "Farenheit 9/11", and while that movie did nothing to change my point of view about our currently appointed President, it shed light on FAR, FAR TOO MANY coincidenses surrounding that appointment. I'm not so naive to think that EVERY President doesn't have 'skeletons in their closet' by the time their elected, but the ones surrounding this man, his family, and his businesses ARE JUST TOO DAMN CONCLUSIVE to point out that he has NO PLACE as 'Leader of the Free World' (which he seems hell bent on changing to 'Leader of HIS World'), or ANYTHING - for that matter.

The final straw that broke my back was finding out yesterday that a report was released (leaked?) that HE (either him, his party, or his representatives) is going to try to DELAY ELECTIONS due to TERRORIST THREATS. WHAT TERRORIST THREATS?? We're on such a heightened sense of alert that if we are 'attacked' - it will only further illustrate our lack of resources dedicated and prepared for such an event...and NOT our ability to continue being a DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC.

I can't help but ask the question...WHY?? So you can F* us over EVEN MORE, Mr President!!???

Do you really think the founding fathers were thinking about gay marriage?

Farenheit 9/11 is nothing more than a "smear campaign" in disguise.

Do you think it would be a good idea to have a plan in place should something happen around the elections?

Sure... so long as it doesn't involve postponing them.

If they do succeed in postponing elections (which I don't think they will... and it would be a colossal political blunder on their part if they did) I think the more appropriate term would be not "Mr. President", but rather "El Presidente". ;)

You're right Jib...

our forefathers WERE NOT thinking about gay marriage...

they were thinking about ALL PEOPLE SHARING THE SAME EQUALITY, ALWAYS. So, who wasn't included??

You're probably right..."Farenheit 9/11" might have been a ""smear campaign" in disguise", but I tend to agree w/ MM when he said (I'm paraphrasing), 'when you generate the financing for a project like this, and you put in all the hard work - you're damn right I'm going to tell MY story...but facts are facts, and my opinions are my opinions.'

Lastly, I do not have any objections against Bush setting up a 'back-up plan' in the event of any "terrorist activities", but like it happened in NY...Giuliani was already voted out when 9/11 happened, and he was requested to stay on for his demonstrated hard work and loyalty to the city, but he had no "official" power yet - he had to consult Bloomberg on all matters. So, if Bush wants to stay on through some crisis *that MIGHT happen*, fine (don't see how the Dem would allow it, however no bother), but he has NO PRESIDENTIAL AUTHORITY during that process...NOT without the approval of the VOTED IN President.

Lest we NEVER FORGET that we are a DEMOCRACY

I think you've been reading too many DNC releases and watched Fahrenheit 9/11 without knowing the lies contained therein a few too many times.

I share your amazement at this ammendment, as it's stupid, un-needed, and against what the 'no law effecting an establishment of religion' portion of the first ammendment's true intent.

Look at the alternative - a socialist parading as a democrat - and think about it dude.

Zell Miller is the greatest Democrat yet living, despite his vote on this issue.

Saw it once...knew enough about it BEFORE I saw it to know it was mostly HIS point of view, but how do you argue with the facts contained within? I drew my own conclusion from his evidence, but have never changed in my unequivocal disgust for this President. He isn't even 1/3 of the President his own father was - and those weren't even big shoes to fill!!

Who's that, Kerry? A man who went to war, saw it's evils, and came home to speak against the atroscities he witnessed...or would you rather a man who bought his way out of service and rode his daddy's coat-tails to the WH??

The absurdity of this comment isn't even worth addressing. Sorry Vinny - but we'll have to agree to disagree here

There were lots of people who never served or that tried to avoid it or got out of it -- like someone who didn't inhale in England. Kerry's a guy who supported the enemy through lies.

LOL. Deny Miller's greatness all you like if it makes you feel better. The facts speak for themselves in his regard.

Kerry didn't just go to war and see its evils - he committed them by his own admission. He then went on to aid and abet the very enemy his country was fighting upon his return from said war. Revere his actions during the time period if you desire - I find them utterly disgusting on many levels.

With regards to Bush's actions during that same time frame - compare them with those of his predecessor at your earliest convenience. I have already done so and know the stronger character of the two.

Nothing personal just stating some facts:

The constitution declares we are "all CREATED equally" not that we must all LIVE equally...thats communism.I work my ass off for myself and my family not for anyone else.
Also we are NOT a democracy we are a "constitutional republic"...if we were a democracy majority would rule...try and explain that to a society where RAPE can be made legal by majority vote

What bothers me with all of this anti-bush retoric is that people are not really thinking about who they will actually vote for...they just care that Bush is gone....thats just irresponsible.Mr Flip-Flop Kerry has jack shit for policies...also the beggar at the corner of Wal-Mart has 20 times the military experience than Kerry or Bush...does that make him a better candidate than Kerry then????

Also "individual, free thinking, free acting" should not be used in the same sentence as UNION.

You're thinking that Kerry will win an election, there will be a bombing after, and Bush might try to delay to transition? If anything, the transition will probably be (hopefully) accellerated in such a circumstance.

The question raised is what to do if a major incident (bigger than the main attack, I would think) happens on election Monday. I think it's worth investigating possible scenarios, but planning to postpone it more than a day or two just encourages another attack then. So if that means considering different ways to conduct the polling on Tuesday, it's worth the exercise.

Certainly more productive than the time spent on a braindead marriage amendmend.

----
A different scenario. The polling indicates a sure victory for one side, and then bombings happen the day before. Should the presumed loser suck it up and step aside, or should he try to take advantage of the effect it might have on voters? Don't presume which person would be each end.

OK. Here Preacher buddy. Here is a quote from Ann Coulter's column where she quotes John Edwards in one of his malpractice trials.

Quote

In one of Edwards' silver-tongued arguments to the jury on behalf of a girl born with cerebral palsy, he claimed he was channeling the unborn baby girl, Jennifer Campbell, who was speaking to the jurors through him:

"She said at 3, 'I'm fine.' She said at 4, 'I'm having a little trouble, but I'm doing OK.' Five, she said, 'I'm having problems.' At 5:30, she said, 'I need out.'"

She's saying, "My lawyer needs a new Jaguar ... "

"She speaks to you through me and I have to tell you right now -- I didn't plan to talk about this -- right now I feel her. I feel her presence. She's inside me, and she's talking to you."

Well, tell her to pipe down, would you? I'm trying to hear the evidence in a malpractice lawsuit.

To paraphrase Oscar Wilde on the death of Little Nell, one must have a heart of stone to read this without laughing. What is this guy, a tent-show preacher? An off-the-strip Las Vegas lounge psychic couldn't get away with this routine.

Is Edwards able to channel any children right before an abortionist's fork is plunged into their tiny skulls? Why can't he hear those babies saying, "Let me live! Stop spraying this saline solution all over me!" Edwards must experience interference in channeling the voices of babies about to be aborted. Their liberal mothers' hands seem to muffle those voices.

Go for it Preacher dude.:S

Anyone who cites a Michael Moore movie or book as having enlightened him or made the world crystal clear for him has got to have a screw loose.

That's like watching the Rosie O'Donnell Show and saying that she smartened you up about how to raise a kid.
