riggerrob 598 #1 December 11, 2015 Riggers, please help me write Christmas carol. It is sung to the tune of "On the twelfth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me ..." 12 11 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 And a Pack Opening Band pulling tool." Each singer must repeat all the previous lines .... and is only allowed to add one new line before passing the challenge on to the next aspiring song-writer. Go guys .... and gals ...! councilman24 36 #3 December 11, 2015 Three T bodkins (three convenient for Strong back PEPs) 2 an iFLY card for 10 hours 1 And a Pack Opening Band pulling tool. (I think I've only seen one of these once, and don't have one.) and 2 needs to be disqualified. Supposed to 2 of something in a rigger kit. I'm old for my age. safetyjim 5 #7 December 12, 2015 I couldn't think of a particular "4" item, but for "5" I'd prefer either 5 sewing machines (2 dedicated straight stitch, 1 zigzag, 1 bartacker, 1 harness -- other persons might have an even greater number of machines on their wish list); or 5 8-foot tables (more convenient than 6 or 7 6-footers, for pilot rigs). If riggerrob receives responses all the way up to 12 (hint: 12 packing weights), he can make the final selections. 5 pounds of lead seals, maybe, but not 5 seals. dpreguy 14 #8 December 13, 2015 Except no rigger has 12 packing weights anymore, unless he's a collector. (Although I do have two packing tables.) "Two packing tables" = works better phonetically

safetyjim 5 #15 December 14, 2015 "Except no rigger has 12 packing weights anymore, unless he's a collector." I use 12 packing weights when packing pilot rigs (I have 12, and use them all). I've watched a well-known east coast master rigger routinely use 17 or more!

Wendy for the win! I like the Temp pins for "two" better than my locking pullup cords (didn't match the metre)."There are NO situations which do not call for a French Maid outfit."
