pmw515 0 #1 August 21, 2006 I have cp, and one of my left leg is slightly shorter than the right. That being the case, i spin to the left. When i correct the spin, i over correct and roll over on to my back. It's difficult to roll out of bed continuously. Anyone else w/ this problem? twdeckard 0 #2 October 11, 2006 Are you still jumping? I have mild CP, I made 22 jumps (a tandem, the static line sequence and some AFFs). I don't jump anymore but am a pilot with a second class medical. I walk with a limp and have limited strength and dexterity with my left leg. I had a hard time with stability, the AFF training helped a lot. A wind tunnel would have been ideal. Good luck!
pmw515 0 #3 October 17, 2006 i haven't jumped in about a month b/c i've been busy. I've done a lot of tandems, some aff, and i would like to get some more tunnel time... eventually. Lately ive been studying for the gre and that has taken all of my time. thanks for taking the time to read my post. It's nice to know i'm not the only one out there. skydude2000 3 #4 February 21, 2007 Yep, I've got 100 jumps with CP in my right arm & leg. I had to have some mods done to the container, but other than that, I haven't had too many big problems related to stability so far. At least not that have had to do with my CP. Keep working at it & eventually you'll be able to train ur body to remember where it needs to be, in order to stay stable. Good Luck, SkydudePULL!! or DIE!!
