udomontfoort 0 #1 May 3, 2006 Hi, I've been jumping since last year, everything was just great until about 3 months ago. Started with pain in my upper arm and shoulder. Went to GP, fysio therapist and finally neurologist. I've been diagnosed with Neuralgic amyotrophy (NA) or Parsonage-Turner syndrome. Basically this amounts to one or more muscles in the shoulder area not functioning any more due to nerve damage, might recover in 2 to 3 years, maybe not. Has anyone ever experienced the same and how did you handle it? I'm going beserk at the moment, weather is great and I just cannot jump. Even considered jumping a tandem, guess that's better than nothing. Any reaction would be appreciated. Udo
