Recommended Posts

If you have constructed/own a container used for an Ash dive, please send me PM.

Looking for designs for (or loan of) such a container.
Please describe how your pouch was designed/used and how well it worked.

I have sewn a few ash bags.
They lay on the left forearm, secured by 2.5 Velcro straps. The first strap wraps around the forearm near the elbow.
The second strap wraps around the palm.
The half strap wraps around the thumb to prevent the pouch from rotating.
The last loop lays on top of the knuckles and gets pulled when you release ashes. When you pull the last loop, the entire top face of the pouch opens exposing ashes to the wind. Velcro closes 3 sides of the top flap.

Discussed more than once before.

Thread on it HERE.

Scroll down a bit and TK Hayes has a really good design for a ziplock bag/duct tape setup. Scroll down a bit more and he put up pics.

I have invented a good one and it has been used 4 times here. Very safe and leaves a sphere of ashes easily seen for those on the ground. It goes on your left wrist. I don't know how to take pictures and send, so I will try to get help from someone who has that skill.
