RedundantRigger 0 #1 March 17, 2014 A year (or two) ago, somebody showed me this great chart that displayed line wear. There was like a gradual development, from new to worn out. And it had one for each line type (spectra, vectran , dacron...) I did a quick search but with no success . I think it was from some PIA meeting. Could somebody possibly share it? councilman24 36 #3 March 17, 2014 It may be on the CD from the 2013 symposium but I don't have it handy. The line type videos at the following link show and discuss wear on various line types. Not what your looking for but more information. http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL45E3B7998E49283EI'm old for my age. RedundantRigger 0 #4 March 18, 2014 that sounds like it. Unfortunately they don't seem to have it posted on their page... Videos are good, but the PowerPoint slides would be good when in the field. or just posting them on the wall. So that jumpers might get a feel for the concept of line wear.
