where to buy raw f-111 material

I'm looking for swatches of nylon material (f-111 or zp) to practice sewing on. Where to buy?

I was able to buy silicon coated ripstop nylon from my local fabric store at a very cheap price (they often get it on closeouts). Silicon-coated nylon is predominantly used in outdoors applications such as tents. It is not exactly the same thing (particularly in terms of the quality control) but has enough of the same qualities that I was able to get good practice on my sewing.

You can purchase parachute material through paragear and sometimes through the manufacturers.
