Sunglasses

I am looking for sunglasses to jump in, but all the sunglasses i have tried on make me look bug-eyed. Does anyone know of any sporty-looking sunglasses that are made for people with smaller than average faces that wont make me look like an insect?

I picked up a pair of Wiley-X at square 2. They seal real well because they've actually got a foam seal on the inside of the frame. They're not cheap, either. http://www.wiley-x.com/eyewear/product/xl1.html

Well, I have a "smaller" face - there's lots of frames out there that are too big for my face. The pair of Gatorz Radiators that I tried on looked good (not just my opinion, several other people said the same )

From what I've seen, they don't look that great on people with smaller faces, maybe they make more then one size, though. *shrug* Who knows. Have you tried hitting a gas station and looking at their cheapy glasses? Some of my best sunglasses have been some of the $5 ones from gas stations.

Gatorz makes several styles some small, some way big and bug eyed. Check em out.

I wear Oakley Minutes (fake ones from Mexico). I have a small face and they are about the only sunglasses that look good on me. They are also very expendable if they get lost during the jump.

Wonder if you could wear contacts with 'em..... It'd be so cool not to have to wear goggles all the time....

Had a pair of prescription sunglasses once, but lost 'em despite the little coozie thing..... sucks trying to land without vision....

I bought some really awesome goggles/glasses awhile back. Three seconds out the door, they slipped off my face and shattered on my helmet. I still have a little piece of them in my change cup.

Thanks for hooking me up guys, I just ordered a pair of the blue and clear lenses. I've always hated how I looked when I had my goggles and my bone head on, the two make me look like an alien with downs syndrum (sp?)

Yeah, I don't jump with my Oakleys, although I wear sunglasses for hop-n-pops or CReW. I've found a couple really good $5 gas station specials that are sorta goggle/bug eye type sunglasses that work *great*.

Remember, its not what you pay for something, its how well it does the job.

i got mine on sale at a sunglass hut 2 yrs ago
so im not to worried about them
they have never come off(crokies woork good)
and i alwas wear a helmet!

You are braver than I am! I don't take my real ones in the air. I lost a pair on Saturday (jumping tandem student scraped them off on the top of the door). I think I would have died if I lost something that expensive in freefall (or in the plane, as the case may be).

i jump with my oakleys all the time. i have never had a problem. of course they are the wrap around type.

I just went next door at lunch and bought 3 pairs of sunglasses for $1 each. Ever since losing the only expensive pair I ever bought a day after getting them, that's the only kind I get. Cheap!

Really? I found them for $70 on Wiley-X's web site and at the local Harley shop.

Check out a hang gliding/parasailing type place. Thats where I found the eyewear in question.
