I'm thinkin' the boat sinks because there is no friction or surface tension holding the boat up...it just slips right on through the water.

That stuff was posted & discussed of FB last year...it's fairly expensive, doesn't last as long as one might think, and really fugulys up many materials it put on.

It definitely fugulys up material. I bought a kit the other day and sprayed it on my shoes as a test. The shoes were black, now they're gray, which is fine because they still look nice, but any thoughts I had of putting it on my rig are gone. It's great stuff, works just like they say, but you'll want to put it on white stuff, not black stuff.

Consult your rig manufacturer prior to adding anything to your rig that they didn't put on it, or offer to put on it. Many manufacturers will spray a rig with Scotchguard, for example, if you're worried about having a dirty rig.
