Smart 220 vs. Optimum 235 reserve

Currently on student status but have purchased a used container that's sized for a 220 main and 220 reserve. Exit weight 218 give or take a couple of pounds (max 225).

In the near future I should come into enough money to purchase a new reserve and I've narrowed my choice down to either a Smart 220 or an optimum 235 (both of which I've been advised by the manufacturer will fit comfortably into the container).

Any advice /input on either would be welcome.

I should also state that I'm not planning on downsizing owing to the fact that I am a full-time carer for my disabled wife and even when I'm off student status I'm unlikely to be able to get more than half a dozen jumps in per month.

with that kind of currency, you can never have too much reserve.. I have never been under a reserve wishing I had a smaller one.

When I had a similar choice, but it was Smart vs PR - I went PR, if I had money to buy an optimum - I would deferentially gotten one. And if someday you will decide to sell it for any reason - Optimum will have a way better resale value.
