Everyone knows it's 42. Where have you been? :D

Nah, that's the answer to the universe, not the meaning of life.

Wrongo, Mark.

It is the answer to Life, The Universe and Everything.

Better reread all five books of the trilogy.

Faster horses, younger women, older whiskey, more money.

Why do they call it "Tourist Season" if we can't shoot them?

I stand corrected, because I only read "Hitchiker's", and "So Long", and that was going on 20 years ago.

Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player that struts and frets his hour upon the stage and then is heard no more. It is a tale, told by an idiot, full of sound and fury - signifying nothing.
- W.Shakespeare (Othello - I think)

As for what does it mean? Who the hell knows!

Being in the presence of a friend with leukemia who has been told that his bone marrow transplant was rejected and his options are limited, but the outcome the same. The outlook that he has, though dark and dim in the end, is something to be commended. I need to run for a bit. Have to go say goodbye to a friend...
