AggieDave 6 #1 January 28, 2003 You ask me what I like about Texas I tell you it's the wide open spaces! It's everything between the Sabine and the Rio Grande. It's the Llano Estacado, It's the Brazos and the Colorado; Spirit of the people down here who share this land! It's another burrito, it's a cold Lone Star in my hand It's a quarter for the jukebox, boys, Play some songs by your favorite Texas Country band! You ask me what I like about Texas It's the big timber roundneck Nacadoches It's driving El Camino Real into San Antone It's the Riverwalk and Mi Tierra Dancing to the Cotton-eyed Joe It's stories of the Menger Hotel and the Alamo! (You remember the Alamo!) It's another burrito, it's a cold Lone Star in my hand! It's a quarter for the jukebox, boys, Play some songs by your favorite Texas Country band! Hey, you ask me what I like about Texas It's Blue Bonnet and Indian paint brushes Swimming in the sacred waters of Barton Springs It's body surfing at Freo It's Saturday night in Del Rio! Driving across the border for some cultural exchange! It's another burrito, it's a cold Lone Star in my hand! It's a quarter for the jukebox, boys, Play some songs by your favorite Texas Country band! It's another burrito, it's a cold Lone Star in my hand! It's a quarter for the jukebox, boys, Play some songs by your favorite Texas Country band! Yee-Hoo! That's what I like about Texas! Yehaw! Those were the lyrics from Jerry Jeff Walker and Garry P. Nunn's song "What I like about Texas" and I thought I'd share. It actually says quite a bit, if you know what its referencing when naming all those different things.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." steve1 5 #2 January 28, 2003 I've visited Texas a few times and have known a fair number of Texans. I like their attitude, if that makes sense. I may move to Texas some day. I think the winters would be great for jumping. It's been down to 30 below, much of last week, here on the hi-line of Montana. Yuck! ....... Brains 2 #3 January 28, 2003 Ok Dave, that's it. I have been lurking in the forums for awhile and have read several of your posts and replies. I got to get to CS and jump with you over there. Anyone who can quote CCR on their sig line AND skydives, that's just too cool. Never look down on someone, unless they are going down on you.

IronMike 0 #11 January 29, 2003 The girls in Texas are the hottest in the country, by far...I don't know what the hell it is, but they are and I love em'. The only girls I have dated/like in CA were from TX and Transplanted here.... Some Cool Girls at Perris from TX: Keely Dana Misti K. They are all hot and cool. Unfortunately, 2 are married and I have dated none of them.

IronMike 0 #15 January 29, 2003 I got a whole block of Elsinore tickets....They suck if you skydive during the week like I do...Perris will be turning loads and they do 1 all day. I need to go on a weekend a do all 25 jumps. Plus, Perris is home and I see no reason to go anywhere else. Is she hot? Ill go hang around all day and not jump and not care if she is. wmw999 2,120 #16 January 29, 2003 Sorry about that -- I was trying to be silly, too, and it didn't come off. Let's just go read the Regan thread, where Deuce and JT are discussing the finer points of how to video someone who just crapped themselves Wendy W.
