timed out tandem rig

was wondering if it is legal to jump a timed out tandem rig by yourself, without a passenger? Talking strong dual hawk, 12 yrs old(I think).

Strong lists a 18 year check......

Edited to add: harness container has a life if 18 years according to SB 22 with the master reserve going to a possible 23 years apon inspection

The short answers is yes you can. Provided you can find a rigger who is willing to sign off as airworthy and repack it and seal it.

Now, I say that knowing full well there will be shortly a bunch on here to attack me and say bullshit, for stating that...

Thanks, that's about what I was thinking.

The reason I ask, is because I'm looking at a couple old rigs for large flag setups for future use

Maybe this will bring some more responses :)
