inkogneetow 0 #1 August 22, 2012 Probably been asked but I couldn't find anything on it. Does anyone know of a compact camera with a 2.5mm jack for bite/tongue switch? I've seen the how to article about adding one to a Sony NEX 5/7 but I'm not that confident with my electronics skills. I've also seen one from Olympus but it is a USB connection and I don't know of any compatible mouth switches. I'm looking for something that will produce higher quality photos than a gopro/contour especially in low light. Any help is appreciated."If I can't be my own, I'll feel better dead." flow 1 #3 August 23, 2012 Like the previous poster said you could propably get better answers on Video & Camera forum. But I've jumped with Canon IXUS 870 IS. It requires you to load custom firmware to your camera so you can attach blow/bite-switch to cameras USB port. You can find the firmware here: http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/CHDK Works fine but the rate it takes the pictures is quite slow. More recent camera models might handle that better though.
