mccordia 74 #1 February 28, 2003 Just got bored from playing UT with the same characters over and over, so I decided to try and model a skydiver to use in the game. I'm modeling myself in my freeflysuit, with a big-ass rig on my back, and I'm gonna try and make some cool animations for in the game, like jumping with a frontloop and stuff like that..or maybe even make it a floating character or something..if you have any funny idea's just howler... I'm not completely sure if I can get it all to work in UT lateron when the model is finished, but if I do..I'll try and include a texture that you can modify into your own freefly-suit and rig colors so you can kill your co-workers in your skydiving-gear... And if anyone wants to record some cool sounds/screams, feel free to do so (how about hearing him scream, "BEER!!!" after a kill :) here's what I modeled so far....I'll try and update after the weekend (lousy weather..:(JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete? I had UT but misplaced it but now have UT2003 which is totally killer. This 'puter, the one that has my games on it, is too slow for the newer games, so UT2003 won't load, but I also have Q2 on here. flyingferret 0 #10 February 28, 2003 Dude, I am with you. Q2 rocks. It is old, but was my first diehard game. And I still have it installed. UT2003 is not all that is cracked up to me. Nothing revolutionary, just UT with better graphics. All the team games were around in mods for Q2 long ago. Then of course Half life Counterstrike I have like over 200 assault maps so ten to one I have whatever you have. and then Soldier of Fortune 2. Which is a great game to me at least...But I also have SoF1, Red Faction, Medal of Honor, Quake 3 arena, UT2003, Wolfenstein and a few other first persons shooters. But if wanted I can set up a server perhaps one wednesday night. THAT could stay on all the time.... now, to PW protect or not to PW protect? should it be a skydiver-only server? how many gamers are on here,? enough to keep it intersting?
