turtlespeed 212 #1 November 10, 2003 [Rant] OK, so I went to Tunnel Camp, had a blast - did 30 min. of extra flying after the regular stuff every day. That's all fun and good, and I learned a lot. What did I do to deserve 5 days of rain after that? This was my first "real" vacation so I wanted to go test out the "skills" that I was trying to acquire in Orlando - Went to Deland - weather hold - weather hold - weather hold (read like:" Badger Badger Badger) So the sky almost cleared up on Thursday - Almost so I catch my flight Friday at noon, look out side and it is some of the prettiest weather you get in Florida. Get back home and guess where the weather went? Shit! So now, Monday, of course - Blue skies and cool outside, minimal wind - Ugh.
