Sylvain 0 #1 April 5, 2011 Hi all, just wanted to share with you a very simple and efficient Viso mount, using just 2 hair elastics (or elastic bands) and 4 mini zip ties (see pictures) Hope this helps, -- Sylvain

TheCaptain 2 #3 April 5, 2011 I really think the Viso is a great altimeter with really crappy mount options from the factory. Relying on that thin piece of plastic to hold up in 4 locations taking all the possible force as your mount does, I think is a bad idea (even L& B did not use zip tyes as I am sure they felt it would break the plastic there). Personaly I bought the Protektor outer plastic skin and using a 1/8" x 1" x (long enough to get the outer mounting holes) Aluminum. Then I drilled and tapped a small plate on the top side and used the supplied wrist band sandwiched between the altimeter and the aluminum base plate.Kirk He's dead Jim
DSE 3 #4 April 5, 2011 Their new plastic sleeve mount is super nice, and no way will it go anywhere. It can even be sewn to a jumpsuit sleeve or leg.
